Originally announced back on December 20th, Activision's promised free Call of Duty 3 map has finally become available on Xbox Live. The small to medium game map 'Champs', which takes place in Port Royal de Champs, can be downloaded exclusively by Xbox Live Gold subscribers until the 18th, when we leave the table and let you Silver member peasants squabble over our table scraps. It amuses us.
Think of the new Champs map as a forward scout for a much larger force. The Valor map pack should hopefully follow soon after, featuring five more French maps perfect for close-quarters fighting, all for 800 Microsoft points. Michael Fahey
