It seems that the German video game ratings board has refused to give Gears Of War a rating, thus ensuring its non-sale in all of Germany. Microsoft has said there is no way a stripped down version of the game will be possible, unfortunately. Dead Rising was also not permitted to be sold in Germany, so that makes two great games they will miss out on. How Germany can do this to gamers, we are not sure; then again, maybe it is time for a good old fashioned protest.
